JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative Manager to join our growing team. This is a player/coach role that is responsible for helping lead and develop the Thrive’s Sales Development Team by developing new campaigns, improving SDR effectiveness in prospecting for new clients and refining strategies, campaigns, and programs to increase the number of qualified leads and opportunities. The role also includes being responsible for generating your own qualified prospect pipeline. We are looking for a highly competitive, entrepreneurial, politely relentless & tenaciously determined leader. The position requires a passion to succeed, willingness to go the extra mile and the desire to be an integral part of a winning team.

As a key part of Thrive’s sales team, you will:

  • Manage the sales-cycle including lead generation qualification and other deliverables for closing deals while consistently delivering on aggressive sales goals
  • Coordinate one on one and team-wide pipeline reviews, meetings and training sessions to ensure ongoing improvement and best practice sharing
  • Measure and manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines and forecasts to ensure success
  • Work with the VP of Sales to design product and region-specific campaigns and programs to build awareness and drive opportunities
  • Participate in sales meetings and training to improve your performance, enhance your skills and help build departmental expertise
  • Increase the effectiveness of tools and communication channels by recognizing opportunities for innovation and proactively implementing new systems and processes
  • Responsible for hiring, on-boarding and training new SDR members
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 2+ years of experience building and managing a successful SDR team for a SaaS/software company that regularly exceeds quota
  • Proven track record establishing, achieving and exceeding measurable lead generation and performance goals
  • Demonstrated success developing prospecting strategies and outreach messaging
  • Successful track record of developing and coaching salespeople to achieve individual targets
  • Experience with hiring, onboarding and ramping up new SDR hires
  • Attention to detail, excellent organization and communication skills
  • Experience with communication platform systems, specifically Outreach
  • A competitive self-starter with a track record of successful, measurable achievements
  • BA degree or equivalent
