As an Account Executive at Thrive Commerce, you will be responsible for managing a full sales cycle, building new customer pipelines, cultivating relationships based on providing value to prospects, and negotiating & closing new business. We’re looking for a seasoned software sales executive with experience opening enterprise accounts, driven to be a top performer in sales, highly competitive, and at the same time a consummate team player. As a key member of Thrive’s sales team, you will:

  • Manage the sales-cycle including lead generation qualification and other deliverables for closing deals while consistently delivering on aggressive sales goals
  • Understand accounts’ needs and master the business problem we solve, the value Thrive provides and why it is unique in the marketplace
  • Hunt and aggressively prospect new business to generate new opportunities via outbound calls & emails, social media, & networking
  • Provide timely and insightful input back to other corporate functions, particularly product management, marketing, and engineering
  • Maintain accounts in CRM and provide up to date and accurate ongoing forecasts
  • Work closely with VP of Sales and CEO to continually optimize the sales process


  • Minimum 2+ years consistent quota over achievement in a Software Sales role
  • Experience selling an enterprise B2B software application; on-demand/SaaS, preferably to the retail and ecommerce industry
  • Track record of developing uncovering new opportunities, adding logos in an Enterprise Software space
  • Use a consultative approach to determine customer needs and establish trusting relationships with prospects
  • Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the C-level Executive
  • Excellent Sales DNA and sales methodology
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
  • Have the drive, initiative, and personal accountability to own your results, not satisfied with the status-quo
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, goal-oriented and rapidly evolving environment
