Sales Development Representative

Job Description:

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating qualified leads and signing new clients. We are looking for entrepreneurial, relentless “never-take-no-for-an-answer” professionals to sell our software solution, the Thrive Omnichannel Promotions Engine, to senior executives in the retail space. The position requires a passion to succeed, willingness to go the extra mile and the desire to be part of a winning team.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new sales prospects & target segments via online research
  • Schedule new prospect demos via telesales, email & social marketing and where appropriate via attending industry events
  • Educate prospects on the quantitative and qualitative benefits of our solution
  • Prepare demo call prospect summaries for sales team
  • Work collaboratively within the sales department to optimize lead generation processes and methods
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with retail prospects
  • Update lead and prospect interaction in Company’s CRM system  
  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas

Qualifications:

  • 4-year College degree
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
  • Confident and compelling presentation style
  • Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment; team player
  • Process agility; able to take in new information and quickly transition & apply
  • Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office)

Job Description:

As a Sales & Marketing Intern at Thrive, you will support the Company’s ongoing sales and marketing efforts and work closely with team members to complete projects. A major focus of the role is to help research and identify sales targets and help organize the Company’s CRM system. The Sales & Marketing Intern will also help with marketing activities such as development of Thrive sales & marketing collateral, social media, market research and researching content for targeted sales outreach.

As part of a truly cross-functional team you will gain valuable experience at one of Philadelphia’s fastest growing start-ups where your ideas actually matter.

This position is unpaid.  Company will complete any required paperwork if candidate is eligible for University credit.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with sales team to research and document sales prospects

We’re looking for a Customer Success Manager to cultivate and grow Thrive’s existing client base. In this role, you will lead the implementation process as well as drive product adoption, usage, and retention while maximizing client benefit. The Customer Success Manager will be responsible for fostering long-term relationships, procuring associated renewals, and turning critically important accounts into deeply engaged strategic partners.

Job Description:

As a member of Thrive’s growing Customer Success team, you will:

  • Ensure a premium experience for our clients by understanding their business objectives
  • Manage & oversee implementation, launch, and onboarding for new clients
  • Deliver insights on key performance metrics monthly, and establish data-informed narrative & recommendations customized per client
  • Become expert in the product: be able to conduct live & in-person product demonstrations

We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer specializing in Amazon Web Services, especially Elastic Kubernetes Service and Docker, to be part of a great team and play a critical role in taking this mission-critical platform to the next level.

The ideal candidate will be take ownership for maintaining and setting the direction of the infrastructure supporting large-scale web and machine learning applications.

Job Description:

Be part of an exciting startup and lead the design and implementation of our AWS/EKS infrastructure. As a member of Thrive’s growing engineering team, you will:

  • Maintain and implement the infrastructure supporting Thrive’s Core web application products in an AWS/EKS environment.
  • Oversee the infrastructure and service health for Thrive’s high availability, low latency, mission critical cloud platforms.
  • Expand on existing monitoring and telemetry dashboards to help visualize real-time system health, usage, and performance metrics.
  • Design, manage, and maintain internal tools to support engineering, operations, research and/or support processes.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production environments.
  • Contribute to system scalability to ensure Thrive’s ability to deliver high availability, low latency services.
  • Understand, implement, and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation.
  • Implement and improve upon continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) toolchain.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Our systems are web/mobile database applications and RESTful APIs. To ensure you hit the ground running, it’s essential that you have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and scripting
  • 2-5+ years experience with a production SaaS solution
  • 5+ years professional software engineering
  • Extensive experience with AWS in a large-scale production environment, especially Elastic Kubernetes Services, EC2.
  • Extensive experience with Docker/Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Continuous Testing/Continuous Delivery tools
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins
  • RDBMS Data Migrations and Maintenance

Billing Specialist (Part-time)

We’re looking for a part-time billing specialist to help ensure clients are billed on-time and payments are made in accordance with the Company’s contracts.

Job Description:

Be part of an exciting startup and help manage the entire billing process for our growing client list. As part of Thrive’s team, you will:

  • Come up with a billing schedule and process based on client contracts
  • Initiate and send invoices to clients
  • Manage the status of accounts and balances
  • Ensure all clients remain informed on outstanding debts and deadlines, issuing past due notices to customers
  • Provide customer support relating to billing questions
  • Provide ongoing reporting on invoicing totals/aging totals/cash receipts

Desired Skills & Experience:
